Giving to God
The Bible teaches that giving is a part of growing in our faith. It is a response to God’s good gifts to us, and it is an act of worship toward Him.
If you are visiting Grace Baptist Church website, but Grace Baptist Church is not your church home, we do not expect you to give. There is no obligation to give at any of our worship services. However, if Grace Baptist is your church home, or if the Lord has touched your heart about supporting His work here at Grace Baptist, we hope this tool will help you to abound in the grace of giving.
2 Corinthians 8:7 says, “Therefore, as ye abound in every thing, in faith, and utterance, and knowledge, and in all diligence, and in your love to us, see that ye abound in this grace also.”

Why Generosity?
2 Corinthians 9:7 says, “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.”
Giving at Grace is defined as “grace-giving from willing hearts”—never pressured. Though God could never need our money, He graciously invites us to invest in His purposes in reaching unbelieving hearts. We give because He has first given us His own Son. He provides for our needs and invites us to steward His gifts well. As we are generous through the local church, we are investing in the kingdom of Jesus Christ and His work in transforming the hearts of people!
